Like Mother, like Son.

First, a story.

When Bethany was six months old, she flew with her Mommy and Grandma Crane to New Zealand to meet Grandpa Crane for the first time.
While we were there, we bought her a wonderful, soft, blue and white snugglie thing to wear in the chilly Kiwi weather.
We all just loved it, and she wore it a lot!

When we got back to the US, she also wore it for her first Halloween,
and we drew little whiskers on her face.
We were not sure what creature she was, but it was cute!

When she outgrew it, I put it in the cedar chest
...and waited to see who would need it next.

Thank goodness we did not wait
until Gavin was six months old to try it on him!

It fits him just right now, at a little over two months old. He is a moose!

Here is Bethany, on a cold New Zealand beach, passed out in the sleeper:

And here is Gavin trying on the same sleeper:Bethany in the Fairy Springs Hotel, with her Mommy:
Gavin:
Gavin, "I think I look a little like Shrek in this thing!"

Gavin: "Did some one say I look like a girl in this??"
