Uncle Frank & Aunt Shirley's 50th Anniversary Gavin's First Crane Family Party!

It was a beautiful day, celebrating a wonderful couple!

Their beautiful daughters put on an elegant party!

Here are the members of the original wedding party.

Dillon and Justin were into the spirit of the party. So cute!
Cousin Heidi, Justin and Dillon all gave Gavin

a warm welcome to the family!
Jaclyn loved Gavin, even though he gave her a little grief!

Mommy looks on....the tiniest of the Crane line was a big hit!

Great Grandpa Crane can always calm down babies. It is a gift!
Great Grandma looked beautiful.

Red is her color, as long as it is not football season!

This is a picture of a very happy Grandma...

......nothing better than a little pumpkin asleep on your shoulder!

The sweetest moment of the day came when Cousin Joy accompanied Callie as she sang "Until the Twelfth of Never" while the anniversary couple danced. That is the song they danced to 50 years ago at their wedding. Callie and Joy did a wonderful job! We have added "Until the Twelfth of Never" to Gavin's lullabies in their honor!
Many thanks to cousin Joy for some of these great pictures!!

Mommy's Little Monster

Starting with Up-Downs this week...
...next week...the Hut Drill!!
This portrait is a Joey Mercado special.
We love Joey!
I did not think he would EVER be big enough for this shirt.

He is growing like the proverbial weed!!
So alert. He doesn't miss a thing!
Learning to like the car seat. That is a good thing!

Golfer Gavin's First Trip to the Desert

Gavin went to Palm Springs to visit Grandpa Bob and Kim.

He wore his golfer clothes, but slept most of the time!

A Very Happy Day.

Any day when all these people are on the same coast is a perfect day!

A California Mommy with Gavin...his first trip to the beach!

Sunset with the sisters and Gavin.

Gavin's First Trip to Charlie's Chili.....it will not be the last!

Uncle Josh calms the little guy down during Ultimate Fighting. Everyone cheered and Gavin was quite startled by that!
Gavin was afraid to close his eyes for the rest of the evening! Honorary Uncle Keith takes a turn holding Gavin.

We have luggage...and LUNCH!

Kaity picked up Laura's luggage at John Wayne Airport. Now a small road trip to Corona was possible, to feast at the infamous Miguel's!
It was Gavin's first visit there.
Before going out with the ladies, he took a nice bath...

He had fashion issues with the slippers. Likes them almost as much as hats!

Nothing a like a Margarita, some Sangria and a yummy lunch to make the girls smile!

Laura....no one makes food quite like this in Joisy!

After lunch, Gavin found the cushiest spot he could and took a nice nap.

At last! Gavin's Aunt Laura is HERE!!

After a very long and difficult trip across country (delayed flights, missed connections and NO LUGGAGE!!) Gavin's excited Aunt Laura finally arrived in Yorba Linda to meet the new little man, who, knowing the importance of this event even in his sleep, was literally waiting for her with open arms!

Avery got to Laura first (of course!)

Not willing to wait even one more minute, Laura woke up the sleeping prince!
Yes, he has perfect, tiny little hands....
First kiss!

Gavin is a snuggler.
Delighted to finally get her chance to be a helpful auntie,
Laura took care of the next diaper, changed him into a froggy sleeper....
...and put him back to sleep.

All travel tragedies aside, it was a WONDERFUL NIGHT!
